I grew up in Fredonia a small town located in Western New York along the Lake Erie shore.  I attended SUNY Maritime College and later transferred to Fredonia University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.  I continued my education at National-Louis University where I received a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.  I am currently attending the University of Delaware and will complete my Doctoral Program in the Fall 2012.

I started my educational career at Erie-2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES in the emotionally disturbed alternative program.  Later I worked as a Behavior Specialist, Dean of Students, and an Administrator with the Osceola County School District in Florida.  During this time I spent 5 years as an Adjunct Professor in mathematics at Valencia Community College.  Locating to Delaware, I joined the Christina School District in 2005 and I am currently the Principal at Shue-Medill Middle School.

I have many interests and hobbies:  learning, teaching, reading, beach, music, guitar, ukulele, motorcycles, basketball, windsurfing, camping, running, crosswords, golf, friends & family.
