CATHERINE HERRING

SOCIAL STUDIES / AVID

Mrs. Herring is an 8th grade Social Studies teacher and an 8th grade AVID teacher at Shue-Medill Middle School. She is the AVID coordinator for the program as well as the Social Studies Department Head and District co-chairperson. Mrs. Herring attended University of Delaware and Wilmington University. She has a bachelor's degree in education, a master's degree in special education, a minor in reading, and a certification in leadership. She has been at Shue-Medill since 1995.
