FCCLA Volunteers

On Monday, November 22nd, the FCCLA Club helped WJBR and the Ministries of Caring collect turkeys and food donations to feed the homeless and low income families in Delaware. Our students worked diligently unloading cars and putting all donations into the WJBR van for distribution to the homeless shelters. Our students were amazed at the overwhelming generosity of our community to help others in need. One person dropped off 10 turkeys for the cause! Our students were so excited when they heard the club recognized across the air waves on WJBR.

PTA Community Volunteer Recognition

This year the PTA is recognizing students that perform at least 10 hours of community service each marking period. During this first marking period the PTA and Shue-Medill staff would like to recognize Brianna Beauchamp, Jasmyne Carmody and Tia Harris for their contribution to the community. Great job!!
