Week of May 14th-18th

We will be taking the spring DCAS reading test a  second time in aprox. two weeks.  Iwill publish the date when I receive it.  Reading logs are due Friday.  I will be sending home make-up work this week for those students who were absent.

Week of May 7th

We had a vast majority of our students show improvement on their spring reading DCAS test.  Some students rose over 50 points.  If your child was absent, we will frinish the tests this week.  Reading Logs as always are due Friday.  Thanks to all of the parents who worked with their child this week.

Week of April 30th

Reading DCAS test is this Tuesday, May 1st.  Please make sure your child is well rested and ready to go.  We are looking for some major gains.  Congratulations to the 6th grade class.  100% homework completion this week.  Reading Logs are still due Friday.

No homework for the holiday.  Pick a fun book and read outside if you get a chance.

 

 Week of March 26th

New MP begins.  Reading Logs are due Friday.  8th graders will be going on their trip with Del. Tech 4-3-12 (Tues.) Permission slips will be coming homne this week.

Week of April 2

Continue with reading logs.  They are due Thursday due to the short week.  Have your child continue to read for the holiday but I will not be collecting logs for that week.
