I hope everyone enjoys a well deserved spring break.  If you did not complete the letter portion of the in class project in school you will need to complete it over the break.  Below is an example of the format for the letter.

City Council

Dear City Council,

     We have come up with a great design for a family community park.  All ages will enjoy

their time here at the Nelson/DeLillio Park (you make up your park name).

      The park is divided into four great sections.  Each section is designed for different age groups. 

Section one has two fields for our soccer lovers.  Section two is for our younger children.  They will

play in our specially designed playground with the latest equipment with many safety features. 

Section three is the picnic area where families can utilize the shaded pavilion or just enjoy the sun while they dine

outdoors.  Several grills are provided for their use.  There is a pond also with small fish for catch and release.

The last part of the park has two basketball courts and lots of parking for cars.

      Please consider my design for the park.  As you can see it has many features for age groups and is very

family oriented.
