5/17/12 - all classes - tech lit project is due now.  Make sure you have completed your powerpoint and saved the information to your S-drive.

7th grade: Using the half-slip of paper provided, on one side draw a picture showing a situation in which a due process right is being violated, and on the other side draw a picture showing the same situation but with the due process right being protected.  Odd classes are due 11/2 and even classes are due 11/3.

6th grade: How are political boundaries determined?  Three or four sentences.  Due 11/4.

6th grade: study for quiz on the Middle East region.  You will have to draw the Middle East, the countries, and the major bodies of water.  Quiz will be 11/11.

7th grade: Map of Africa project.  Odd days are due 12/1.  Even days are due 12/2.

6th grade: study for mental map test of the world.  Use study guide from class to help you.  Test is 11/30.

7th grade, sessions 2 and 8: finish answering the Essential Question.  Make sure your response is explained.  Due 12/1.

7th grade, sessions 1, 3, 9: finish answering the Essential Question (Identify the two requirements that government must meet in order to Eminent Domain a property.  Expalin each requirement).

7th grade: study for test on Eminent Domain and property rights.  Use your review sheet to guide you in your studying.  Test for odd classes is 12/8.  Test for even classes is 12/9.

7th grade: Slawter case.  Due for odd classes on 12/20.  Due for even classes on 12/19.

7th grade: Sessions 2, 6, and 8: finish writing story with 13 geo terms.

7th grade: finish geo terms foldable booklet. 

7th grade: for the week of 1/30, study your citizenship test for a test later this week.

6th grade: 2/1/12 review your notes on culture and civilization.  Think of ways that our culture differs from many others around the globe.

7th grade: Study your notes on powers of state/federal government (as well as share powers).  Your venn diagram from class will be helpful for this.  You will be tested on this information.  Test for even classes 2/10 and for odd classes 3/13.

6th Grade: Answer the following question using complete thoughts and complete sentences: What culture might these children (Mongolian children from the Peace Corps article) growing up in these areas learn as they grop up?  Responses are due 2/9.

7th grade, even classes: finish Uncle Buzzy letter on Syrian Conflict.  Due 2/21/12

7th grade, session 6: Finish questions 1 - 7 on the Sudan - South Sudan conflict from class.  Due 2/23.

All classes: continue to look over Economic terms and think about a meal you would like to prepare from the country in which you did research. 5/7
