Hello Everyone

We are in the 4th marking period and are now in a new unit--- Economic Systems

If you have completed your design of the quiz using the Frayer models from Culture and Civilization, you may clean out the ss section of your binder

April 3rd and 4th

Complete the questions that go with the worksheet Comparing Economies. The answers come from the text and table on that sheet.

If you are keeping up with your student's grades on Eschool, note the assessment grade for Culture and Civilization. If it is not high a 5, 6, or 7 that means we have to use the opportunities in the 4th marking period to prevent a big drop in ss grades.  There should be two more unit tests before Memorial Day that will help grade averages if there is improvement.   The avg unit test grade for Culture and Civilization is a 75%. I will return tests on Thursday and the Monday we return from break. Scores are posted on eschool.

April 18th

if you did not finish the worksheet comparing economic systems please do so before our next class

April 25th and 26th

Even Day students will be quizzed on the Economic Systems graphic organizer and the text material in "What Economies are all About," on Friday the 27th of April. Odd Day students will be quizzed Monday April 30th

Study by reviewing the graphic organizer and reading the article.

Students that scored a 5 or a 6 on the last unit assessment were given an article and questions to answer that refer to that article. Up to 2 points will be added to their scores if they are successful in answering those questions
