6th Grade - Introduction to Computer Software

 - Continue to work on our individualize tables project in Microsoft Word.

                      - 6th graders were learning how to make tables and organize information using Microsoft Word .

                        - After a variety of different graded classwork assignments working on Tables in Microsoft Word, students were required to create

                           their own table  with a paragraph explaining why they chose to create a table on the topic of their choice. 

                       - Students are being assessed on creativity, spelling, spacing, and the ability to create the table with the information properly place inside the table.

- If you have not completed your paragraph - make sure the paragraph is complete.  You may do a rough draft at home. Proofread it and bring it to class to

   put into your assignment.

 

 7th Grade - Computer Fundamentals

- Will continue our JA Finance Park Simualtion in preparation for our upcoming field trip.

- We have completed Chapters 1, 2, and 3.  Chapter 4 - (Simulation) -  provides students with hands-on exercises to get the feel of exactly what the expectation

   will be on Wednesday May 16, 2012.

- Money for trip was due on May 4, 2012 -

- Date of the trip - Wednesday May 16, 2012 

- Students attending must bring a BAG LUNCH

 

 8TH Grade - Computer Applications

 - Students have completed Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

  -Students will begin to work on Microsoft Power point. May 7, 2012 - June 8

 - May 7 , 2012 - Monday

     Classwork - Students read Chapter 1 - Microsoft Power point, Vocabulary, Fill In the Blank & Multiple Choice.

 - May 9, 2012 - Wednesday

   Classwork - Overview of the Chapter ( with Teacher) Q & A Sessions - Work on Project from the textbook
