New High School Health Requirements

New High School Health Requirements

This Message is for all 8th grade parents.   Starting with the 2012-2013 school year, Delaware Schools will require that ALL students entering 9th Grade MUST have a current health examination on file with the school health office.  The health exam must have been done within 2 years of entering into 9th Grade and must be received within 30days of the 2012/2013 school year.

This notification is provided NOW so that you will have ample time to obtain a health exam prior to September 2012.  As with other regulatory requirements, students who do not meet the requirement will be excluded from school.

For your convenience we have put more information and needed forms on the Shue-Medill Website.  All 8th grade parents will also be receiving further information by mail within the next 2 weeks.

If you have any questions or concerns you may contact Mrs. Rekito, our school nurse through our email system.   She will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
