PARENT MUSIC ASSOCIATION

The Parent Music Association (PMA) functions as a supportive group for the Shue-Medill Music Department. In the past years, this group of involved parents, guardians, and staff members were able to purchase performance vests and bow ties for all students. The PMA also provided musical enrichment activities including the opportunity for students to attend a musical at the Delaware Theatre Company and hosted an in-house performance by Doc Gibbs, a Master Percussionist and Musical Director for Emeril Live, at no cost to our students. Membership is free of charge and is open to all who recognize the importance of Music Education in our students’ lives. For information concerning the PMA, contact Lois Hoffman at (302) 737-3163.
